Position: In Community Event Volunteer

Impact Statement: The Canadian Blood Service (CBS) provides a safe, reliable, secure, and cost-effective supply of blood, blood products and their alternatives and is committed to operating Canada's independent national blood supply.
Description: In-community volunteers support Canadian Blood Services initiatives, participate in local events, promote community awareness regarding Canadian Blood Services projects, and assist with donor recruitment. This volunteer will assist with set-up and tear-down of the promotional booth and other equipment (if applicable); provide courteous and responsive service to prospective donors; provide information about Canadian Blood Services programs and initiatives; assist with management of participant records and event documentation.
Training Details: Canadian Blood Servicesí volunteer orientation, event training, privacy training, and volunteer program policies and procedures provided.
Working Conditions: May require handling of average-weight objects. Locations may vary and may be outdoors.
Duration: 7 - 12 months
Timing: Anytime
Time Detail: Flexible to your time availability.
