Impact Statement: Volunteering with The Arthritis Society as a Bingo Volunteer helps to raise critical funds for the successful delivery of our programs and services which benefit 4.6 million Canadians living with arthritis. We would not have come this far over our 60-year history without our volunteers, and we are truly thankful for their selfless contributions.
Description: The Arthritis Society is seeking volunteers to help run bingo session at the KW Gaming Centre. Volunteers will greet clients upon entry into the bingo hall and will sell bingo cards, help with money counting, as well as counting cards at the beginning and end. Must be minimum 18 years of age, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with numbers and money.
Training Details: Volunteers will be oriented to the organization, and training for the position is provided by the KW Gaming Association.
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Evening
Time Detail: Mondays; 7:45 pm - 11:30 pm - once per month
Age: 18+
