Position: Fundraising Grant Researcher
Location: 65 Hanson Avenue, Kitchener, ON, Canada
Impact Statement: Do you want to help kids get off the sidelines and into the game? KidSport KW is a committee of the KW Sports Council (a not-for-profit organization) that provides grants to low income children and youth so they can participate in their favourite local sport or dance activities. Whether its basketball, soccer, gymnastics or ballet, when kids want to get involved in organized, instructional or competitive sports or dance, KidSport KW will make it happen So ALL Kids Can Play!
Description: The Fundraising Grant Researcher is a key position and is responsible for identifying, researching and applying for fundraising grants that KidSport is eligible for. The estimated time commitment is 1 to 2 hours per week. This position reports directly to the Management Committee and the Revenue Generation Coordinator. This role can be done remotely and the hours are flexible.
Training Details: The rest of the KidSport KW Committee will help on-board the Fundraising Grant Researcher and familiarize them with the organization and the role.
Duration: 7 - 12 months
Timing: Anytime
Time Detail: 1-2 hours per week.
