Position: Grocery Store Ambassador - Spring Food Drive Support

Food drive donations are important to restock our shelves with a variety of nutritious foods our agencies need for meal and hamper programs. We couldn’t do this without the support of our volunteers who help hand out our food drive bags at local grocery stores.
Description: Volunteers are needed to hand out our food drive bags at grocery stores across Kitchener-Waterloo, and encourage grocery shoppers to make a donation before they leave the store. A great fit for someone outgoing, personable, and comfortable speaking with customers entering the store.
Training Details: Training to be provided.
Working Conditions: Indoors, outdoors, all sorts of weather. Lots of time standing, walking and some heavy lifting.
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening
Age: 16+
