Impact Statement: Pride Stables is a non-profit organization offering therapeutic horseback riding for persons with disbabilities since 1974. By volunteering you make these sessions possible.
Description: Love Horses? Love Children? Pride Stables offers a unique volunteer opportunity. Volunteers are needed to lead horses or side-walk with children with special needs. Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age.
Training Details: Volunteer Training and Orientation sessions begin in September. Please check our website for training dates and times.
Working Conditions: Outdoors (Weather permitting. If bad weather, classes are inside).
Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime
Time Detail: We ask our volunteers to commit to at least one class per week. Our Fall session is 10 weeks in duration.
Age: 14+
