Position: Male Mentor - Youth Program
Location: Throughout Waterloo Region. Volunteer office (shown on map): 65 Hanson Avenue, Kitchener
Impact Statement: This is a solid service opportunity where you will make a meaningful difference in a young person's life while providing a needed service to our community.
Description: Mentors help youth become more resilient and support them as they make sense of what they are going though. Aside from the satisfaction of helping, male mentors have fun too! Our Male mentor volunteers can hike, play games and watch sports, be active, build stuff and have fun with the child or youth to whom they are assigned. Mileage and expenses are covered.
Requirements: Confidentiality, Physical Demand, Work Without Supervision

Duration: 7 - 12 months
Timing: Anytime
Time Detail: 2 to 4 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year. Activities can happen after school, during evenings, or on weekends.
Age: 18+
