Position: Meal Prep Volunteer - Kitchen at both locations
Location: 990 Speedsville Road, Cambridge

Description: Following your training you will prepare meals for residents, manage kitchen storage, maintain kitchen areas to Public Health standards, assist with grocery list preparation. Volunteers must demonstrate a knowledge and enjoyment of cooking, ability to handle kitchen equipment, willingness to complete food handling training and pass written exam, proper hygiene and cleaning practices and strong oral communication skills.
Requirements: English Proficiency, Confidentiality, Physical Demand, Specialized Training, Work Without Supervision
Training Details: Training involves the successful pass of food handling exam to be taken at Conestoga College or online.
Working Conditions: Standing for up to 4 hours; kitchen environment.
Duration: More than 1 year
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime
Time Detail: Mornings and afternoons each day of the week. Approx 9am - 1pm, or 10am - 2pm, or 2 - 6pm. Required to work only one shift per week (Mon-Fri) or one per month (Sat or Sun)
