Position: Special Events Assistant

Impact Statement: Through thoughtful and engaging programs, the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery (KW|AG) connects people and ideas through art. The Gallery's exhibitions and programs are built on the mission that art is the catalyst for shared experience, dialogue and imagination.
Description: KWAG holds many special events throughout the year, each with its own distinct identity and purpose. These can include anything from Exhibition Openings and Artist Talks to fundraising galas and partner events. Volunteers provide hospitality services, public relations, and general event organization. Smart Serve is an asset for this role.
Training Details: Volunteers receive on the spot training before the start of their shift.
Working Conditions: This position may require evening and weekend hours. Anyone with a keen interest in event management is encouraged to apply.
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening
Age: 19+
